The Name Game

"Leo Leo bo beo banana fanna foe feo fe fi moe meo, Leo" a tune I am oh so familiar with. Leo isn't very fond of the car ride home so yesterday I sang this favorite tune approx. 50 times to help pass the time away for him. Any second wasted to catch a breath was for to long for him and a small 'ah, ah' would be heard. I went through every member of our family, including the cats, by first name and nickname and I even started in on the extended family. Twenty five minutes of pure bliss. Today's ride was much more enjoyable and it wasn't until about half way, Shawnee Mission & Nall to be exact, that I had to break out his favorite tune.

I apologize for always taking so long to post but I have it in my head that I will actually be able to process and edit my photos before posting....this is not the case. I have decided I am not cut out to be a working mom. I don't know how they do it. I have a list a mile long and it stresses me out just looking at it.

Let's see. Leo. Did I ever give his 6 month stats? 16 pounds (30%), 26 3/4 in long (70%), and 16 3/4 in head (25%) ... somebody needs to tell the mean man in 7-eleven that my child does not have a large head!

Leo is most definitely on the verge of crawling....time to child proof my house. Yes, this is at the top of my to-do list! He rolls over like crazy and scoots in circles like a mad man. He LOVES 'Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy' in mama's lap or in the actual contraption. He thinks the most random things are hilarious. For example, when I shake his bottle. Laughs hysterically!

He is a big eater but not really surprised there....so are we. I am still making his food which I thoroughly enjoy however the kid eats better things than we do. Leo has chicken & carrots while mom & dad have frozen pizza. Spoiled kid I tell ya.

Oh yeah....Leo finally got to meet some more aunties (Les & Barth) but we didn't manage to get a picture. Guess that means another gathering is needed......
