I promise I am only somewhat slacking on the blog updates. Our computer is at the doctor so you may not hear from us for another week or so.....but we do have things to tell you about! Stay tuned!

Whoops - I forgot something!

Leo & I took a trip to the Mommy & Me Boutique yesterday to see how much he has grown.......8 lbs 12 oz! Such as big boy!

The Past Two Weeks

Leo is seven weeks old today - where has the time gone!? While I have enjoyed seeing him "grow" up, I would rather the time stand still because this means I only have five more weeks to enjoy being home with him. Many of you know I have really been struggling with having to go back to work but I think Neal and I have devised a plan that may just allow me to stay at home by the time we have our next child...which is a few years down the road. However, your prayers will be much needed as it is not going to be easy!

Leo and I have spent the last couple weeks enjoying the weather as much as we can. We spent one day out at the Legends (an outdoor shopping mall) with our cousin Heather. Another day was spent around our local Brookside area where Leo got a new hat! (And the good news is daddy actually approved of our purchase) It's a little rainy this week but it is supposed to be 65 on Friday so Leo and I will be heading to the Power & Light district for our next walk & shop event.

Leo's personality is really starting to come out. He loves playing with his tongue and will smile often. He has also started to carry on some baby talk conversations - I just love it! Leo will be making his first trip to Des Moines next week and he couldn't be more excited to see his family and meet some of mommy & daddy's friends!!
